Boil Water Notice Issued due to Ongoing Main Line Repair near Rock Way and Almarion Way
Rollingwood Residents,
Due to an ongoing repair to a main line in the Rock Way and Almarion Way area, a precautionary Boil Water Notice has been issued to the following streets:
Vance Lane
Rock Way Cove
Wallis Drive to Pickwick Lane
Hatley Drive from Wallis Drive to Riley Road
Rock Way
Almarion Way
Inwood Circle
Hubbard Circle
Pickwick Lane from Wallis Drive to Inwood Road
Inwood Road from Rollingwood Drive to Hatley Drive
The known affected addresses will receive door hangers detailing the Boil Water Notice. If you receive one, please follow the Boil Water Notice protocol from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) below. If your property is not on one of the streets listed above but you experienced low or no water pressure yesterday, November 30, 2022, or today, December 1, 2022, please also follow the boil water notice protocol outlined below:
TCEQ BOIL WATER NOTICE PROTOCOL
Customers should boil their water prior to consumption (e.g., washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc). Children, seniors, and persons with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria, and all customers should follow these directions.
To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and ice making should be boiled and cooled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes. The water should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes.
In lieu of boiling, individuals may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
We appreciate your cooperation with TCEQ’s boil water measures during this time and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We will inform you via our website (www.rollingwoodtx.gov) and the Swift911 Notification System when the water at affected houses is safe for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
