Rollingwood Residents,

Due to a water line break at 4801 Rollingwood Drive (WHAC) water to the following addresses has been shut off in oder to repair the line.

4826, 4824, 4822, 4820, 4818, 4816, 4814, 2805, and 4801 Rollingwood Drive

408, 406, 404, 403, 402, 401, 503 Wallis Drive

We expect the water to be back on this afternoon. When the water is turned back on, a boil water notice will be in effect for the stated addresses. These addresses have also received door hangers detailing the boil water notice. If you have received one, please follow the Boil Water Notice protocol from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) below:

Customers should boil their water prior to consumption (e.g., washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc). Children, seniors, and persons with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria, and all customers should follow these directions.

To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and ice making should be boiled and cooled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes. The water should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes.

In lieu of boiling, individuals may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

We appreciate your cooperation with TCEQ’s boil water measures during this time and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We will inform you via our website (www.rollingwoodtx.gov) and the Swift911 Notification System when the water at affected houses is safe for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

Please contact City Hall at 512-327-1838 if there is any way we can be of assistance or if you need bottled water.

Take care,

City of Rollingwood
