Google Fiber is Coming to Rollingwood!

Rollingwood Residents,

Google Fiber will be building a fiber-to-the-home network, which will give Rollingwood residents and businesses more choice for high speed internet service. Rollingwood joins a select group of cities nationwide where Google Fiber will deploy its 100% fiber optic internet service.

With the shift to more virtual work, school and commerce in the wake of the pandemic, high-speed internet service is vital to how the world functions today. Google Fiber delivers symmetrical gigabit service along with multi-gigabit speeds.

Rollingwood Mayor, Gavin Massingill explained, “This is a great move for our community. It shows that the City Council has the city’s best interest in mind by bringing new providers in to expand options and ensure competitive pricing for our residents. We look forward to the installation of Google Fiber in Rollingwood.”
